Gracie's Gym Show

Saturday morning we took a break from unpacking and arranging and then rearranging to go to Gracie's last gym class. They performed a "show" where the kids went around the gym doing all their new moves and Parents were allowed to follow them around and applaud and snap pics like fools. Gracie was so proud of her sommersaults and beam walking. Today Paul has taken a much needed mental therapy break and gone snowboarding while Gracie and I will go check out our new local library!

Quiet Friday

Another day of relaxing and playing with Gracie. We will see if I can get her to help me pack today too! She got this wonderful pink sweater/hat combo from expert knitter Aunt June for Christmas, the fabulous white canada hat set from Gale and the pink skating dress from Santa! I think the next extra curricular activity for this kid is going to be a dance class! Whenever she hears music, be it jazz, pop or classical, she runs for her room and changes into her skating dress and socks so she can glide on the wood floors and spin properly!

More packing and organizing today! Although I am not allowed to pack much, lift anything or move around too much due to an early pre-term labor scare I am managing to get some little things done, lots of phone calls etc. We move on the 26th and Gracie is very excited about all the events going on. Her gym class is coming to a close and they were allowed to watch some video of themselves this Saturday. Gracie has been really improving her skills in learning to play and use her imagination. She loves to play "school" and puts all her "guys" in circle time and goes on picnics with them. This morning she spent hours in the bathroom putting her toothbrushes down for a nap!
