Going thru pics we have on the computer I am amazed to see some that I forgot we had or actually never saw before. I can't believe how fast time flies and that not so very long ago G was just a little wee thing!

A very cold day at the beach. We had a lovely walk and enjoyed the outdoors!

first trip to the salon

Today we took Gracie for her first ever professional haircut! She was so good and quiet and loves her new haircut. Take a look!

Pre-turkey feast

Woke up to a severe frost all over everything but we have had a lovely quiet Thanksgiving morning. I made Brussels Sprouts for dinner while Gracie and P watched the parade on TV (for about 10 minutes). We are about to head out to our big feast so I will send pics of that tommorow. But here are some from this morning including a very rare one of moi!

The way we were (Nov 29th 1996)

We look like such babies! It is almost that time of year when P and I celebrate wedded bliss. Has it really been eleven years? Wow, time flies... Seattle to Laramie to Rockport and back to Seattle again! Trips to Nova Scotia, PEI, Texas, California, BC, Vermont, Quebec. Lilly, Gracie and the little one soon to be! Eleven years!

Time of Thanks

Thanksgiving is this Thursday and we will be with good friends which is always nice. Friday P is back to work and we will most definitely be avoiding "Black Friday" at the local mall and shops! The weather has been awful lately with days of rain and wet. Gracie has been good about entertaining herself and her dolls with tea parties and tents. She loved dressing up in her princess dress yesterday and serving tea and popcorn to her little ones! last week she had a play date with her best friend which went well and they now have a sleep over planned in a couple of weeks! Wow, has is that for growing up! A sleep-over! What will we be giving thanks for this year? A healthy sweet daughter and another one on the way and all our family and friends who love us and support us!

chilly weekend

A great quiet weekend with lots of rain and wind but we got G out of the house so she didn't go too crazy. She loves the beach so we took her there but it was very cold and windy as you can tell from the waves! We all have coughs and sniffles this weekend so a good time to lay low!

A day with Gracie

A nice quiet day with Gracie which included relaxing in her rocking chair and baking. Gracie has been begging me to help her make gingerbread cookies for ages so today I gave in and we baked! Gracie also had fun playing "Gracie's Teddy Bear Daycare" and put all her little friends down for a nap!

Lilly's Day

Today is Lilly's day. We will honor and think of her as this was the day five years ago she was born. It is with love and peace that we remember her and the excitement at having another girl to get us through this day. If we were in Maine we would climb the mountain and look out at the Atlantic as we did the first anniversary and the second with Gracie who was five weeks old.

It's a girl

Well tests have confirmed all is well with the baby and we are thrilled we will be having another girl! For those of you who don't know, the baby is due April 20th! A great Aunt (Christine, 20th )or a grandmother (Suki, 21st) or a grandfather (Norm, 16th) may have to share their birthday. You can all start sending suggestions for names but Matthewina is not acceptable (that's a big hint being sent to Madagascar). Although had this baby been a boy, Matthew was the name we had chosen. Now we will be able to use the tons of tubs of girl clothes we have!

WEEKEND

A nice weekend here with no special events going on. Just had G's gym class and visited friends. Here are some pics from Sat!

Halloween

Well atlast the monumental event of trick or treating has passed. Gracie was beside herself with excitement yesterday which was fun to watch but hard to put an end to. P went as a baseball player which was fun for Gracie. She only lasted about 20 minutes thank goodness as it means her candy supply is somewhat limited and she really had a great time answering the door and watching for trick-or-treaters. After a quick walk thru the neighborhood I was amazed to see how many people do not participate. It was fun but I was thrilled to take down the ghosties, spider webs and pumpkins this morning!
