Gracie and Lucy both had great week this week. Gracie did very well in school having fun playing on the climber and drawing wonderful art. Lucy has been very fussy at night and it usually lasts from 5 pm to about midnight but this does mean that she sleeps very well through the night. :) We are now going to try taking her away from the night time commotion of dinner making and maybe letting her fall asleep for the night around 8 or so but this potentially means she may wake up at 4:30 am we'll see! Both girls are developing right on track, Lucy will be 6 weeks tomorrow and is very alert and stays awake a little longer every day. She is smiling at us and making little sounds. The other day I was harping at Gracie for something and she turned to me and said..."Just worry about yourself Mom, I'll worry about me!" Little stinker!

memorial day weekend

well this was a long weekend and we loved having Paul around for 3 whole days! Except for a baseball practice it was a nice time to try and get stuff done. Lucy is wonderful and growing quickly and Gracie is becoming quite the awesome big sister. Back to the grind today with Paul back to work and Gracie at school. I am off to an MRI today to see if we can figure out why I have migraines EVERY day and find some relief!

granny's sweater

Granny Suki knit Gracie a gorgeous sweater! The sweater is lovely and we all wish we had one too, although the model in these pics wasn't quite cooperating!

A gorgeous sunny hot weekend in Seattle. We took Lucy for her first family picnic at Greenlake, bought Gracie a pool, set up our backyard patio and enjoyed the great outdoors!

What a wonderful time it has been having Lucy around and getting to know our new family dynamics! Having Lanelle here has been a lifesaver! Real life begins soon as Paul goes back to work tomorrow and Lanelle leaves on Wed. Cousin SJ and Jesa brought over an amazing dinner last night for which we were ever grateful and and always nice to hang out with them!
